Fear

Sometimes I dive into my darkness and here’s what I learned today:

Autopilot is a dangerous place to live your life.

You never know who you might find yourself paying tribute to.

The devil is a sneaky snake.

But he’s not that smart.

Still, are you going to serve God or fear? Because you can’t serve both.

God is love and there is no fear in perfect love.

If you wanted to, you could think of literal separation from God every time fear is present.

So one might say it’s a good idea to cut out anything triggering in order to stay with Him.

That’s what I do. I cut out secular music (though I still struggle with this). I cut out most tv. I’m an anxious person so for me, it is important I minimize certain things.

Now I’m not sure if fear is a sin but considering that to sin is to miss the mark, I would argue that it is. It signifies a lack of trust in our savior. In extreme cases it can be offensive to the Lord.
